“If you died right now, do you have the assurance that you would go to heaven?”

We, at the Gearhart agency, believe that of all the questions that one may face during a lifetime, this is truly "the big question”.

Many seem confused about the true nature of God. His deepest feelings and intentions for mankind are revealed to us through scripture in John 3:16.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

Receiving this eternal life is something that you must do personally. It is an act of submission to Christ as the Lord of your life. It is a response from believing with all your heart that He died for your sins.

To receive the forgiveness and salvation that are found in Christ you must…

• Believe that He loves you and has the power to give you eternal life. John 3:16
• Know that you have done wrong (sinned) and need His forgiveness. Romans 6:23
• Be willing to turn away from your sins (repent). Acts 3:19
• Ask Him to forgive you of your sins and believe that He will accept you. Romans 10:13
• Submit your life to Christ, allow Him to be in control (Lord). Romans 10:9-10

So… if you died right now, do you have the assurance that you would go to heaven? It is our great hope that you have this assurance through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
